Step into a whole-body chamber chilled to as low as -160°C, wearing gloves, socks and slippers, for up to four minutes. Sensors read the temperature of each body part, so your session is personalised and ends once every area reaches its target. Choose mild, default or intense, then walk out feeling wide awake.
Training hard? Intense cold exposure can ease feelings of muscle soreness and support post-workout recovery.
No two bodies are the same. Our chamber uses smart sensors to monitor skin temperature across different areas, helping tailor each session to your individual inflammatory levels.
Need a reset? Just minutes in our cryotherapy chamber delivers an invigorating burst, leaving you feeling refreshed and re-energised.
Whole-body cryotherapy is a very short exposure to extremely cold, dry air inside a specially built chamber. You stand with your head clear of the chamber while the cold surrounds your body for up to four minutes.
Because the air is dry, the cold feels sharp and clean rather than damp. Sensors read the temperature and resistance of each body part and focus harder on your most inflamed areas, and the session ends when every area has reached its target. You choose a mild, default or intense setting, and our team stay with you, talk you through it and keep a close eye on how you are feeling.
Cryotherapy is not suitable for everyone, for example during pregnancy or if you have certain heart or circulation conditions. Speak to your GP first if you have a medical condition, and message us with any questions.

A Cochrane review of four trials with 64 active adults found lower self-reported muscle soreness after whole-body cryotherapy, including at 1 hour after exercise. Many clients use a session after hard training to help their muscles feel fresher.
In a randomised crossover study of 10 elite synchronised swimmers (Schaal et al., 2015), daily whole-body cryostimulation during two weeks of intense training helped preserve sleep duration, sleep efficiency and energy. The authors said the results support its use by athletes in demanding periods. Many clients tell us they leave feeling awake and clear-headed.
A 2025 meta-analysis of 11 randomised trials (274 people) in Scientific Reports found that whole-body cryotherapy lowered the inflammatory marker IL-1β and raised the anti-inflammatory IL-10. A 2024 review of 18 studies (499 participants) in Heliyon found that post-exercise cryostimulation significantly reduced muscle pain and perceived fatigue.
In a controlled trial of 60 adults (Rymaszewska et al., 2007), 26 had 15 short whole-body cryotherapy sessions over 3 weeks alongside their usual care, and 34 had usual care only. The cryotherapy group showed a significantly larger improvement in anxiety and depression scores and in life satisfaction. Many clients describe a real lift in mood after a session.
Whole-body cryotherapy was first used in the late 1970s for rheumatism. In a trial of 60 people with active rheumatoid arthritis (Hirvonen et al., 2006), pain fell in every cryotherapy group, most of all in the group given whole-body cryotherapy at -110°C. No serious or permanent side effects were found. A further trial of 44 patients (Gizińska et al., 2015) found that the cryotherapy group improved in pain, fatigue and walking, with reductions in the inflammatory markers IL-6 and TNF-α.
In a study of 12 high-ranking professional tennis players (Ziemann et al., 2012), a 5-day course of whole-body cryostimulation alongside training was more effective for recovery than training alone, and the players showed greater stroke effectiveness in a tennis drill. Elite teams use cryotherapy for the same reason, and our chamber gives you the same kind of session.
In a randomised trial of 43 people with fibromyalgia (Varallo et al., 2022), adding ten 2-minute sessions of whole-body cryostimulation to a rehabilitation programme produced greater improvements in pain, mood, sleep quality and the overall impact of the condition than rehabilitation alone. The authors described it as a promising add-on treatment.
In a randomised trial of 80 men aged 65-77 with long-term lower back pain (Giemza et al., 2015), those who had whole-body cryotherapy frequently across the week showed significant improvement. The authors concluded that it is effective for treating lower back pain.
In a study of 48 people with multiple sclerosis (Miller et al., 2016), a series of daily whole-body cryostimulation sessions improved both fatigue and functional status. The improvements were greatest in the people who started out most fatigued.
Cold exposure is a staple of the biohacking world for its effects on inflammation, circulation and recovery. In a study of 45 healthy men (Lubkowska et al., 2011), a course of 5, 10 or 20 sessions raised the anti-inflammatory markers IL-6 and IL-10 and lowered IL-1α. The 20-session course gave the longest-lasting effects, so regular visits seem to build on each other.

We provide the protective gear you need: gloves, socks and slippers. Wear dry, minimal clothing.
Up to four minutes in the chamber, guided by our team the whole way. The sensors check each body part and your session is done once every area has reached its target temperature, set by the mild, default or intense setting you chose. You can stop at any time.
Get dressed, have a drink and head back to your day. No downtime needed.
You change into a robe, socks and gloves, then step into the chamber for up to four minutes while our team guides you. Sensors read the temperature of each body part, and you're done once every area has reached its target for the mild, default or intense setting you chose. You can talk to us throughout, and you'll warm up quickly afterwards.
The air is very cold but dry, so most people find it bracing rather than painful. You can ask to stop at any time, and our team keeps an eye on you throughout.
Yes. A 6-session package is £270 (£45 a session) compared with £59 for a single session. We also offer day passes and protocols that combine several therapies.
Wear something comfortable that's easy to change out of. We provide a robe, socks and gloves. Please make sure your skin is dry before you start, and ask our team if you have any questions on the day.
It depends on your goals. Some people come once for a boost, others build a regular routine alongside their training. We'll talk through what suits you at your first visit.
It suits many healthy adults, but not everyone, for example during pregnancy or with some heart, blood-pressure or cold-sensitivity conditions. You'll complete a consent form before your first session. If you're unsure, ask us or your doctor.
